Growth Model: Micro churches are thoughtfully designed to consist of approximately twelve members, facilitating deep interpersonal connections and providing personalized attention. As these communities thrive, members are inspired to take initiative in starting additional micro churches, cultivating a culture of multiplication. This transformation is ignited by identifying and nurturing mature leaders within the group, who can guide and mentor new members, ensuring sustainable growth for the network.

Steps to Building Mega Transformation

Organized Plan: To implement this model effectively, we adhere to the Acts Blueprint, derived from Biblical teachings and practices, especially those demonstrated by Yahshua in developing His disciples. In recent years, the Church has faced a significant spiritual crisis—one that has been developed over decades. This crisis is alarming and deserves urgent attention, as it reveals the stark decline of many congregations and the pervasive spiritual weakness that characterizes them today.

Many churches now find themselves operating without the true Head of the Church as their guide, increasingly relying on man-centered leadership that has drifted away from the empowering presence of God.

Over time, critical decisions have led these congregations off course, causing them to become numb to the Master's voice, which seeks to lead them out of turbulent times. A daunting silence has fallen over leaders who have opted to chart their paths independently, effectively grieving the Gifts of the Spirit and rendering the prophetic voice unimportant.

Part 1

The consequences of this spiritual decline are glaringly evident, but the roots of the issue extend back years, marked by significant missteps made by church leaders. There is potential for transformation as the Church seeks healing through the Master. This exploration will delve deeply into the historical roots, theological ramifications, and modern-day consequences of quenching the Holy Spirit, particularly regarding the gifts of healing, prophecy, and deliverance. This document serves as a necessary rebuke to every church that stifles the gifts of His Spirit.

How It Started: The Roots of The Jesus Revolution and Calvary Chapel's Evolution 

The Jesus Movement: A Spirit-Led Revival 

The Jesus Movement, which gained momentum in the late 1970s and surged into the 1980s, marked a profound revival characterized by the transformative work of the Holy Spirit. This movement significantly influenced countless young people across the globe, fostering a spiritual awakening defined by several key attributes:

Radical conversions: Many individuals experienced dramatic life changes as they encountered the message of Messiah for the first time, leading to authentic transformations in their lifestyles and priorities.

Spontaneous baptisms: In various settings, particularly in beaches and parks, individuals were baptized in large numbers, demonstrating the outward expression of inward faith.

Prophetic utterances: Believers began to speak words of knowledge and prophetic insight, conveying messages believed to be divinely inspired, which encouraged and built up the church community.

Healing and deliverance ministries: Numerous instances of physical and emotional healing emerged, offering hope and restoration to those burdened by pain and affliction.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit: Many participants sought and experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit, often evidenced by speaking in tongues, praying in a heavenly language and the activation of other charismatic gifts.

Calvary Chapel: The Start Of A Central Hub

Calvary Chapel, under the leadership of Chuck Smith, rose to prominence as a new crucial hub during this Jesus People movement. Initially, the church embraced the gifts of the Spirit, experiencing a thrilling atmosphere of revival. Significant figures like Lonnie Frisbee played pivotal roles, demonstrating a ministry marked by healing, prophecy, and miraculous signs. Lonnie was indeed genuinely anointed, and his deep commitment to seeking the Holy Spirit inspired many around him.

Lonnie would minister at Calvary and there came a time that he was moving in the Holy Spirit and Chuck stopped him and latter, in close doors Chuck accused Lonnie of showboating [playing to the crowd] even when Lonnie was in the Spirit! Chuck stopped Lonnie from doing exploits by the Holy Spirit at Calvary!   

Now, Chuck Smith, who had his former roots in the Four Square Church, found himself grappling with certain manifestations that he viewed as straying from God’s intended purpose for the gifts of the Spirit. His caution ultimately led to restrictions that stifled the flourishing expressions of the Spirit within his ministry and beyond.

The Struggle with Spiritual Gifts 

Throughout the mid-1970s, while spiritual gifts thrived, Chuck began to clash with how these gifts were manifested during public services. Despite witnessing clear evidence of the Holy Spirit's work, he imposed guidelines to curb public expressions of these gifts during church gatherings. He recommended that congregants who wished to exercise their spiritual gifts do so outside of the main services, which created a chasm between the sanctuary and the active manifestations of the Holy Spirit. This decision made in the name of order, inadvertently led to a disconnection that many within the congregation still experience today.

The decline of the Church and the quenching of the Gifts of the Spirit is a multifaceted issue rooted in historical choices and leadership dynamics. As congregations reflect on their practices and the styles of leadership guiding them, there is hope for transformation and recovery. The Restriction

An influential figure during this time, Chuck Smith, found himself in direct conflict with the public manifestations of spiritual gifts. Despite witnessing evident and transformative works of the Holy Spirit, he decided to impose stringent regulations that would shape the future of Calvary Chapel and influence many other churches. He established guidelines that suggested congregants practice their gifts outside of public worship, effectively sealing the sanctuary from the dynamic and spontaneous expressions of the Holy Spirit that were once welcomed and celebrated.

This decision by Chuck not only shaped Calvary Chapel’s environment but also set a precedent that echoed throughout various denominations and movements, creating a culture where the supernatural—once embraced—became absent from church life.

Echoes Across Years 

This shift was not an isolated phenomenon. Numerous movements and denominations mirrored this trend, each adapting it to their context:

-The Vineyard Movement: Initially embraced charismatic practices but later adopted restrictions reminiscent of Chuck's approach, prioritizing more moderation in spirit-led gifts.

Southern Baptist Convention: Largely adhered to cessationist theology, which teaches that the miraculous gifts of the Spirit ceased with the apostles.

Evangelical Free Church: Maintained unsettled views on spiritual gifts.

Assemblies of God: Despite retaining a charismatic identity, it gradually changed and began to adopt more traditional practices, they say they believe according to doctrine but don’t practice the Gifts of the Spirit being more like Baptists.

Non-denominational megachurches: Frequently favor seeker-sensitive methodologies, often shying away from supernatural manifestations to create a comfortable worship experience.

The Practice of Quenching the Spirit

The concept of "quenching the Spirit," as described in 1 Thessalonians 5:19, involves actively suppressing the Holy Spirit's work and activity. This suppression has been particularly pronounced in several critical areas of church life:

Quenching

Prophetic words: Church leaders may ignore or dismiss prophetic utterances, viewing them as subjective rather than divinely inspired.

Healing ministries: Many congregations shy away from healing practices out of fear of misunderstanding or controversy, thereby limiting opportunities for healing.

Speaking in tongues: This practice has often been marginalized, with many dismissing it as emotionalism rather than recognizing its validity within a balanced spiritual life.

Prayer in the heavenly language: Engaging in Spirit-led prayer has been squelched, limiting the depth of communication with God.

Deliverance from demonic oppression: This vital ministry is frequently avoided, leading to unmet spiritual needs within congregations.

Overall functioning of the gifts of the Holy Spirit: A general reluctance to engage with the gifts can stifle the vibrancy and life of the church community.

Churches often quench the Spirit through various practices, including:

Legislation against spiritual gifts in public worship settings.

Substituting Spirit-led ministry with scripted or rigidly structured programs that offer little room for spontaneity.

Disregarding prophetic voices, often labelling them as emotionalism or signs of disorder.

Avoiding healing and deliverance ministries due to concerns about acceptable church practices.

The consequences of these restrictive approaches are significant.

Millions of believers find themselves attending services that lack the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit.

A widespread decline in spiritual hunger and an expectation for the supernatural has taken hold within many congregations.

Increased emotionalism and bondage stemming from unresolved spiritual issues plague many believers.

A lack of discernment and prophetic correction within the Church leaves its members vulnerable to falling away from true biblical teaching.

Churches and Movements That Have Quenched the Spirit:

IN CONTRAST TO CHURCHES IN DECLINE,

WE MUST KEEP ALINED AND GROW INDIVIDUALS IN MINISTRIES FOR THE KINGDOM!

In the Acts Blueprint model, the church is beautifully illustrated as the vibrant community formed by meetup groups. This is our model! For us, church transcends the confines of a temple or sanctuary; it embodies the heartfelt contributions of each member as integral parts of the body of Messiah.

The early church, as depicted in the book of Acts, thrived on collaboration rather than on the shoulders of a single leader imparting, which sets us apart from many contemporary churches. The book of Acts never had one single leader imparting but many with one heart, and through these gifts we see their contribution in turning the world right side up!

We want that image to be ours here at Way Of The Master Yahshua. Regrettably, we can say many modern churches seem to falter in nurturing genuine spiritual growth to maturity. The fact is that Yahshua allocated the anointed body to work together in bringing spiritual maturity to its fullness.

Why is it that often modern churches shy away from proclaiming the full counsel of God, which establishes maturity, opting instead to try to sustain their congregations with spiritual “milk” rather than nourishing them with the rich “meat” of deeper teachings? It is a fact that many of these churches give out milk actually in fear that their congregation will be turned off and leave them! These churches want to keep everything “light and fluffy!” Continuing with this arrangement stifles true spiritual development, a state that seems to be accepted all too easily. This complacency allows young Christians to remain in a state of spiritual infancy, neglecting the critical need for all believers to pursue maturity. It's unacceptable that so many individuals continue to stagnate in their faith and live lives of spiritual weakness. Our goal is to establish individuals spiritually thriving and arriving in strength. We must collectively cultivate a strong desire and determination to grow up and fully embrace our roles as mature adults in the Messiah.

In contrast, in our community, we value every individual’s contribution, creating a space where newcomers can engage with these teachings for the first time while others revisit foundational truths, invigorating their understanding. This enriching journey allows members to uncover dimensions of faith that may have remained hidden to them, thereby strengthening their spiritual foundation and guiding them toward the new life they have long yearned for. Together, we foster an atmosphere of growth, discovery, and profound connection.

In these modern days we are seeing if you can discern that the church has gone wrong! The reason why the church is facing, this is because they have decided to go its own ways. Instead of following the Messiah’s commands to go out to the world, they try to bring the world to them. That never works with the Holy Spirit especially when the church tries to gain people by being more worldly!

 It is about the institution not the person, and that has brought so much pain from people because its not about Yahshua seeking you, but you falling inline with what we are told to do! The building itself was never the purpose because it is not the church. The people are the church not the steeple! We the people are His church for we are His body.

There is a reason to go into the broken world in the modern day church. The pastor was never the sounding board for the faith! This is the division we see today. It is YHWH, Yahshua, and the Holy Spirit which are who we follow, not these gurus who sit in the seat of these modern churches! We should know better having discernment.

Many undiscerning love to hear things that tickle their ears, instead of hearing and being discerning about what is going on today in these modern churches. Today no one really wants to reach out to those who need to be saved! Yahshua taught His disciples and commissioned them and was the example to the world wide church! Yahshua taught and commanded them sent out to go to the local towns and people in their areas! First in Jerusalem and then beyond into the whole world! This example is given to today’s believers in Messiah. Acts 2:42-47 lets us about the church daily, those who were bringing people into the flock of God and to salvation!

Romans 7:42-47 – The Lord added to the church daily. This is the mandate from Messiah the head of the church for today for He has given us the Acts Blueprint to follow in the foot steps of Messiah and his Apostles through the leading of the Spirit of God who is the same yesterday, today and forever!

I Corinthians 3:16 – We the church [the people] are one Body in Messiah. We are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. When we go out, He who lives within us goes with us. This is why we are affective when we speak to the unsaved because it is the Lord who will speak His anointed word which plants the seeds to salvation. 

Yahshua Messiah is the Head of the church who are the people of God. As for as true leaders and not fakes, you rowel is Messiah head over the church not you! As we see in the book of Revelation in the first three chapters; you will see who is speaking as the Head of the Church and it is not you!!! Any leadership in the church must be hearing from the head of the church in order to be leaders! In many modern churches many leaders do not follow the Head of the church and fell that they have the authority to guide Yahshua’s church without checking in for daily and weekly orders. We don’t see this as the rightful leadership which the church is to be following. If you can’t hear from God’s Spirit directing you church, then why are you leading by your own perfectives? Isn’t this what Yahshua said to the righteous when He said, “You are blind leaders, who the blind are following!”

Real leaders are transparent people, they yield themselves to YHWH through Messiah to hear and get their orders from above. These wait upon the Master in reverence and Godly respect, they have hearts like David who are more about Abiding then seeking to lead without! This is a heart condition which the Lord has analyzed which is contrite. The chief Shepherd is Messiah, all leader which are elders are the five-fold ministry. The Bible tells us that that leaders in the church are together and in unity, they are united together all in one church! This is what we see in the church, leaders together leading by Messiah’s Spirit utterance and powerful –proceeding words! This is true guidance for a real church.

Hearing from His Spirit is also setup through the multi complexity of the united church being together in the text of the Bible.  The structure of the church body is to function through the Spirit of God in all their gifts which are given and able to minister through their anointed time spent with the Lord. This requires everyone in the body to both pray privately as well as correctly. How can you hear from God without the church body reverently attending seeking after Him without coming together in intercession – prayer!

Elders are mature leaders in every gathering of the church. It is these Elders which raise up the church to be in its fullness! Today the modern church lacks in this example. The elder ministry gifts are more important to the modern church today because of the lack. Because we have Elders, their attention to details will bring their anointing, a whole panorama of spiritual fullness to the body of Messiah.

Again, many modern churches and their single pastors, do not respect Messiah as head of the church and His as their Sovereign!!! They reside themselves to be, in their church they think of themselves as a one man band of anointing but their ego will not give space for other mature ministry gifts to operate! The church today gets it all wrong in one reason by not understanding of the united Elders which bring their anointed gifts to the church for developing and bringing up mature believers so they can be effective in their ministries. We are talking about the modern church here and the way they these pastors seam to think that the Bible ministry gifts come in one package – that of themselves!!!  

Eph. 4:11-15 tells us that it is all the ministry gifts and their anointing causes the church to thrive, growing into the fullness of spiritual maturity, in order to be co-laborers with God.

Now, what about evangelism?  We know by the actions of many church goers that they have no interest about bringing people to our Lord! They don’t think much of evangelism or about Messiah Yahshua thinks about it. They are not concerned about others when they themselves have already experienced it. They are blind to how they themselves came to faith and who brought the good news into their life. So how does Messiah view this situation? He Himself gave all of Himself to extend to the lost and bring light in their darkness! While many just don’t give it a thought, Yahshua thoughts are that through Him and other believers that they will be like Him and pillage Hell and populate Heaven! It is a fact according to resent American church polls that only 5 to 7 present disciple and only the same 5 to 7 percent outreach to bring in those who long to be connected with the live God through Messiah Yahshua.

So the Holy Spirit desires right now to lead you to those who have been drawn by the Father in order to receive Yahshua as their Savior. How do you feel about those who have been waiting so long to find Him?

The facts are that many people are off a trail they took and have lost their way. They have a one sided view of their life and they want out of the direction that they have been living! However, they only can see from their perspective and that won’t get them out of their current one viewed perception. Their perception will not deliver them!         

God is the only one who can deliver them! God has a panoramic view over every place we have wondered and can deliver our predicament. His overview is not ours. In this time of our lives His overview and guidance can take us from the trail that was a dead end and He gives us the road out of our enema. Remember, God sees everything from above seeing very problem and He can lead us in a 180 change of direction being peace and wholeness.

By God’s instructions, if we yield to follow His lead-- He has instructions so that we can enter a new path that is if -- we receive and follow His precepts! We then will travel to a place by His lead and become examples walking with Him and becoming leaders.  Now don’t you want to be a soul winner and live out the real life a believer in Messiah Yahshua?

This is about following the ACTS BLUEPRINT, which has been ordained and anointed by the Holy Spirit from Elohim [God] for our success. Comparison: The Early Church vs. The Modern Church

Leadership & Structure

Early Church (Acts)

Leadership was decentralized, with apostles, elders, and local believers guiding the church (Acts 6:1-6, Acts 14:23).

This reformation is not about destroying the modern church but reviving its original purpose. The Acts church was alive, powerful, and unstoppable—and it can be again.

The original spelling of the word "YAHOSH(UA)"

is taken from Matthew 1:20-21.

The name YAH/UWAH is the original Hebraic form and meaning for "God,"

 MESSIAH, THE SENT ONE – YAHSHUA/ JESUS!

Confirmations Within The Scriptures Of Messiah Yahshua/ Jesus.

In this chapter, we will explore various scriptural confirmations of the Messiah, Yahshua/Jesus, and examine how they demonstrate His authenticity as the sent one from God. We will delve into prophecies from the Old Testament and see how they are fulfilled in the New Testament. These confirmations serve not only to strengthen the faith of believers but also to testify to the world of Yahshua/Jesus' divine origin.

Micah 5:2 But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings is from long ago, from the days of eternity. Bethlehem, a small and seemingly insignificant town in Judah, is declared by the prophet Micah to be the birthplace of the Messiah.=

In Matthew 2:1-6, we see Yahshua /Jesus being born in Bethlehem as prophesied by Micah. The verse emphasizes the eternal nature of the Messiah, indicating that His plan was set in motion from the beginning of time.

John 1:1, 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh (a human person), and dwelt among us The Gospel of John begins with the powerful declaration of Yahshua/ Jesus' divinity, stating that He is the Word, who existed from the beginning with God and is Himself God. This verse highlights Yahshua/ Jesus' hypostatic union, where He is both fully God and fully man. The fact that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us emphasizes Jesus' humanity while also underscoring His divine nature.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel (meaning God present among men). Psalm 2:7, 1-12 I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, 'You are My Son; Today I have begotten You.'" Worship the LORD with reverence and rejoice with trembling. Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! This psalm foretells the coronation of the Messiah, where the Father declares Yahshua / Jesus as His Son. This emphasizes Jesus' divine relationship with the Father and reinforces His role as the Messiah..

Matthew 17:5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, "This is My Beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!" On the Mount of Transfiguration, Jesus is revealed as the Son of God, with the divine voice from the cloud proclaiming His relationship with the Father. Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed…He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise His on the heel. This verse is a prophecy spoken by God to the serpent after the fall of Adam and Eve. It speaks of the enmity between the serpent's seed and the woman's seed, indicating that there will be a Messiah who will ultimately triumph over Satan.

Genesis 22:18 In your seed (Yahshua/Jesus) all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice. This verse emphasizes the significance of Abraham's obedience, as it is through his seed, Jesus, that all nations will be blessed. Matthew 1:1 The record of the genealogy of Yahshua/Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham: Matthew begins Yahshua/ Jesus' genealogy with Abraham, emphasizing His connection to the patriarchs of Israel and ultimately, His role as the Messiah.

Genesis 17:19 But God said, "No, but Sarah your wife will bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him. This verse is a prophecy regarding Isaac's birth, who is considered the seed of Abraham. It also establishes the covenant between God and Abraham, which will be fulfilled through Yahshua /Jesus.

Numbers 24:17 I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near; A star shall come forth from Jacob… This prophecy, spoken by Balaam, declares the birth of the Messiah as a star that will come forth from Jacob, emphasizing His eternal plan.

Genesis 49:10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples. This verse foretells the Messiah's origin from the tribe of Judah, as well as the ruler's staff that will remain in His hand until He comes.

Revelation 5:5 And one of the elders said to me, "Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals." This verse testifies to Yahshua / Jesus' origin from Judah and emphasizes His role as the Root of David, underscoring His connection to the Davidic line.

Jeremiah 33:14-15 Behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will fulfill the good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and the house of Judah. In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch of David to spring forth; and He shall execute justice and righteousness on the earth." This prophecy speaks of a righteous Branch of David, which will spring forth and execute justice and righteousness on the earth. This emphasizes Jesus' connection to the Davidic line and His divine mission to bring redemption.

 6. Receiving the Holy Spirit: Part one: Being Born from Above. Upon receiving Yahshua Jesus, you receive the new birth, the Holy Spirit regenerates your inner man. Here it is said, "will guide you into all truth" (John 14:16-17).

The Secord part of receiving the Holy Spirit is being immersion in the Holy Spirit, He comes upon you to anoint       you with His Spirit anointing. When you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit He comes upon you and fills you to overflowing, giving you a new heavenly language to pray through. Every time you pray in this way you will be praying in God’s prefect will and your spirit with become buildup. (Romans 8:26-27)   

7. Commit to a Life of Discipleship: Follow Yahshua Jesus' teachings and strive to live a life that reflects His character. This involves studying the Bible, praying regularly, and being a witness for Him.

Receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the Evidence of Speaking in Tongues

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a pivotal experience for every Believer. It is an empowering event that marks the beginning of a new life in the power of the Spirit. The most common evidence of receiving this baptism is speaking in tongues, a supernatural language given by the Holy Spirit.

Steps to Receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

 1. Believe: Believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a real an available experience for every Believer (Acts 2:38-39).

 2. Desire: Have a genuine desire for the Holy Spirit's power and guidance in your life (Mark 9:24).

 3. Repent: Confess any known sins and turn away from them (Acts 2:38).

 4. Pray: Ask God for the baptism in the Holy Spirit, believing that He will give it to you (Luke 11:13).

 5. Lay Hands: Find a mature Believer who can pray for you and lay hands on you (Acts 8:17).

 6. Wait: Be patient and wait for the Holy Spirit to come upon you. It may not happen immediately.

Evidence of Speaking in Tongues

 When you receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, you will likely begin to speak in tongues. This is a supernatural language that is not known to your conscious mind. It is a gift from the Holy Spirit that enables you to communicate with God on a deeper level.

 1. Heavenly Language: Tongues are a divine language that is spoken to God (1 Corinthians 14:2).

 2. Edification: Speaking in tongues can build you up spiritually and bring you closer to God (1 Corinthians 14:4).

 3. Superhuman: The ability to speak in tongues is a miraculous gift that transcends human abilities (Acts 2:4).

Entering into the Nine Gifts of the Spirit

In addition to speaking in tongues, the baptism in the Holy Spirit also grants access to the nine gifts of the Spirit. These gifts are supernatural abilities that empower you to serve God and build up the Church:
